If you get to Tsalka, do not miss the village of Gumbati and the enterprise of the same name. Gumbati milk processing enterprise is one of the largest milk processing enterprises in this region and processes 12 tons of milk in each summer month and 6 tons in each winter month.

A variety of cheese made from cow's milk grown on Tsalka farms is particularly rich in protein and calcium, which are important minerals for health.

Adjarian Chlechili is a type of low-calorie cheese that exists as thin threads. Due to its taste, it works very well with light white wine, as well as semi-sweet white and red wine, and is also used to make the Adjarian dish of Borano.

 “Gumbati” distinguishes another product from other enterprises - kaimagi. The resulting milk separation cream is slightly heated and then slowly mixed with a wooden stick. This produces a soft creamy mass that hardens slightly over time but does not lose its original taste, tenderness, and aroma.
